Vancouver Canucks Open Practice 2008
In late October, prior to their matchup with the Boston Bruins, fans will get a chance to watch as the Vancouver Canucks take to the ice in an open practice, presented by BC Hydro Power Smart. Fans will not only get to watch their team warm up, but will also get a chance to participate in various activities, ranging from face-painting, air hockey, shootout challenges and various prizes-giveaways, including autographed sticks used by real Canucks players. The event will take place at General Motors Place, on October 26, at 11:00 AM and is sure to be a hit both with families and diehard Canucks fans throughout Vancouver and Canada.
The Canucks kicked off this season with a fresh, young lineup in place and deep pockets ready for the trade and free agent deadline. Steve Bernier and Pavol Demitra, are among the many new faces who will grace General Motors Place this year, in Canucks uniforms. Meanwhile, Roberto Luongo, who has grown into arguably the league’s best goalie, was named team captain. In addition, the team has some of the world’s most dedicated and excited fans behind them, cheering them every step of the way.
The team is off to an amazing start in the early stages of this 2008/2009 preseason and regular season thus far. They hope to continue their winning streak throughout the rest of the year and into 2009, as they put their past challenges behind them and try to regroup and refocus on the ones ahead, in the near future.

@icehockeywarehouse thanks alot im probably getting these from you guys
It is not a must, but the wheels that come stock on this skate are very soft. That means they will break quite quickly if you use them on the street. I would definitely get the other wheels.

@icehockeywarehouse and im getting these skates would u use the stock wheels or those labedas' you said to buy and also if i just used these what would it really matter is it like a must to get the other wheels ? THANKS
I would not use those wheels for street hockey. Your best bet would be the Labeda Asphalt wheels.

are the rink rat World Cup Inline Hockey Wheel (X-Grip) good for outdoor play such as out in the street just playing with friends
XXX grip is a 76A and XX is a 78A. So XXX is a softer wheel with more grip.
