will enhance the game, and actually add a degree of difficulty to it. The simplest kinds of air hockey tables are usually

inexpensive and have fewer procedures that are necessary in order to set them up. The enhanced version of an air hockey table

requires much more time to set them up time and usually is more expensive.

Tabletop Air Hockey

Air hockey games that are played on a tabletop usually have many of the same features that the bigger models that stand on

the floor. This type of game is supposed to be used on a table. But, it can also be set up on any flat surface such as the

floor.

Standard Table

The standard air hockey tables may be anywhere from 4 to 7feet long. With the standard air hockey tables the players have to

maintain their own scores.

Air Hockey Tables with Features

There are some types of air hockey table that have special features that can either be added on or are built right in. These

special features can include lights to help keep score and running lights that are used for decorative purposes. One feature

that can always be added to some types of air hockey tables is known as a visual blind. This blind is put over the table, and

it will prevent the player from being able to see the puck as it is passed across the table and thus increases the difficulty

of the game.

Combination Tables

Air hockey tables can be easily designed to be converted into other types of games. For example, there are air hockey tables

that also serve as a pool table combination. This gives the players the ability to easily rotate the table to select either

the pool table or an air hockey table. Air hockey tables can also serve as storage for another type of game, which creates a

combination game table.

gnu - damn skippy. boxes, trash bags, piles, baskets... everything in my life is uprooted and on the move. but it's onward - just like you are moving onward. and that kinda change? good change...

unbearable banishment - yes. less is more. i still have way too much stuff. there's a gentle tug of self-loathing driven by the things i plan to buy - pool table, wet bar, dart board, home theater, whole-house digital sound system... all in the spirit of "play" rather than "show", but still...

    Hi All

Just a reminder - Kohu Road reunion is 11.30ish. I will be there then and some may be a little later like closer to 12pm. If the day is like today, there is PLENTY of room inside - don't forget to bring a fold away chair, if you want to sit down - there is a couch and pool table that we can use, otherwise it will be a cold concrete floor.

Please feel free to call me 021733446 if you have questions or blog.

    See you there.

    Cheers

My parents tried one about 10 years ago. The only thing they sold was MY full size air hockey table. I didn't have space for it at my apartment at the time, and my Dad declared it fair game. It took a long time for me to forgive him for that. Other than the air hockey table they sold nothing. The people would haggle and my mother would say no. A real battle of wills. Nothing worse than have a group of old Yankees rummaging though your stuff. For those non-New England natives an “Old Yankee” is what we call the eccentric, cheap, cranky and Protestant old timers in these parts. Oh, and a lot of them have the bluest of blue blood and are unbelievably wealthy. All the junk is still in the house (with the price tags on). They wanted me to sell it on e-Bay but I refused to sell anything that was worth less then $50. Hence nothing.
