Will the paint peel off if the table is left outside(it is under a roof so it won't get wet)?

i say cover it up at night and when the weather is adverse (rain, slow, cold/hot days) and it should be fine. when i was in college alot of kids used indoor ping pong tables for beer pong tables outside most of them seemed to hold up fine.

Its useful life will be diminished considerably. It would be subject to major fluctuations in temperature and humidity. It would be likely to warp some, and absorb moisture. The paint will deteriorate. If you cover it, moisture will develop under the cover causing damage to the paint and possible swelling of the table top and warping. If you don't cover it the top will also deteriorate from exposure to the elements, even under a roof. If you live in a very low humidity environment, however, such as the low desert, the table will hold up much better than in wet and humid areas. Hope that helps!

We've had ours outside for years now. It's so much nicer to play outdoors. We just wrap it up tight with a tarp when we're not using it and ours is still in great shape. We do put it in the garage when it snows, though.

Just received the new ping pong table top (goes on top of the pool table) for the office! Tested it out and I am really bad :) But it's fun!
