The main reasons for amusement parks are thrills from rides, perhaps entertainment, games (arcade or other), food and drinks, and overall memorable times!! There are MANY different amusement parks to obviously choose from, all around the world. These are often amongst the best places you can plan on taking family, friends, or going independently.
Roller coasters are ride are rides which move at top-speeds, sure to thrill or scare whoever rides them. Most amusement parks in good business have them. There are other rides nevertheless which you might find thrilling as well, such as the "Sea Ray", "Round Up" and "Tilt-A'Whirl". One good idea is to print out a map of an amusement park from the Internet, and number the rides you want to go on before entering the park. That way, you can use this order to get on these rides faster than the increasing of certain lines. It's also a great idea to bring something such as an mp3 player in case you're in a long line.

Certain amusement parks might not include a "cubby", or particular area for you to put your belongings, so it's a good idea to use a small paper bag to put your wallet, perhaps mp3 player and other in the place the bad somewhere before you go on a ride. One of the things you'd want to include in this bag is a rock underneath the belongings to help keep the bag down (if it's a breezy or fairly windy day). Of course, be sure this is in line with the amusement park rules.

You might find whale shows, singers and perhaps circus-like performances in a typical amusement park. You might even have the option of attending certain shows, or presentations in an auditorium-like setting. There could even be a parade! These are amongst the attention-grabbers which could draw you to want to make an arrangement with your family, for instance.

You're very likely to "stumble upon" an arcade, obviously at least good for the kids, especially the ones too young to go on rides. You can try to help them have a good time with certain arcade games, mascots, and rides specially designed significantly young kids (such as a "Kiddie Coaster). But arcades in general can be appealing to many age groups, and serve as yet another considerable reason to choose an amusement park. Air hockey, shooting games and other games could be more appealing for people in their early teens and up.

Obviously, the food at an amusement park can serve as a tourist attraction itself. No need to go any further there.

If you have a family album, than perhaps you'd like an addition to it of your family at an amusement park. A picture of someone on a roller coaster ride, for instance, could be a good inclusion. Or just a family photo with a good view in the background.

Perhaps in around or within somewhat driving distance of certain amusement parks are entertainment events that'll likely be memorable for the whole family, or/and a group of friends! Consider this further.
